I had all kinds of fun using the Girl kit + add on + high strung stamp set for this selfie layout of my niece. The black patterned paper is stamped and clear embossed with the word love. I used two white cardstock sheets from my stash (punched one with my notebook punch), then layered the heart paper on top.
I cut the wood veneer butterflies apart then inked and clear embossed them to give a bit more shine to the layout. The rosettes I made out of patterned paper were a nice circular addition to the page. Once I had all that in place I went through the die cuts and such and just started to play with it all.
I knew I would end up putting a lot on this layout so I kept all my elements overlapping each other so it would read as one big cluster. To finish it all off, I used a few white enamel dots from my stash to dot around the page and called it done!
I made a YouTube video of this layout for you. Enjoy!
Hi there. I have a layout to share with stuff from my stash. I used a bunch of wood veneer on this one. I was going for a more monochromatic look.
This page is about how scarred Maggie is of the sounds my camera makes. I am trying to get her past this slowly and patiently. The sound of the auto focus & shutter scare her. I reached my hand out to her in hopes of calming her and she rested her little head in my palm. (that's how I got this shot).
I used the feathers as a symbol of softness on this page and the cute little fox fit well with my theme here too. I like the scattered look of a bunch of embellishments on a page, however it is sometimes difficult to achieve a random look.
I am happy I got this little story down in my album it's a difficult one for Maggie to overcome but she's trying :)
I made a YouTube video of this layout as well. Enjoy!
Made a biscuit layout. I never had any luck making these till I found this recipe on YouTube. It's on the Joy of Baking YouTube channel. A must try for sure.
I used the Heart It Races kit + Add On from Scraptastic Club. I also used a few bits from my stash. The white cardstock, hearts and enamel dots are from my stash.
I made a YouTube video with links in the description where you can find the recipe. Enjoy!
Hello thought I would show my pegboard today. I was having issues trying to keep my current Scraptastic Kits organized and my Hubby came up with this for me.
He is just too sweet. I just floated the idea by him one day and the very next day he had it all ready to go. I came home from work and it was all painted and dry in the driveway. I was so pleased. He got me little shelves and all the pegs and everything. I can see what I have at a glance and get everything put away quickly. Thank You Sweetheart!
I am still having fun with my Thriller kit from Scraptastic. I made a layout about the cutest little chocolate candies. I started by using the words background cut file and cut it out of white cardstock.
I put my title on a banner in the top right corner. The black and vellum banners are embossed with a chevron embossing folder.
I chose the large OCTOBER card from the cut-a-part sheet to place my photo on. Then added some embellishments. I love the flair in this kit. The 31 veneer circle is white embossed and layered over a starburst shape I cut from the black cardstock.
I made a YouTube video for this layout as well. Enjoy!
Hi! I am sharing this 8.5 by 11 layout using the October TLN kit from Scraptastic. I wanted to scrap this photo of wood veneers and this kit fit the bill perfectly. I started by printing a digital woodgrain paper, and then cut a huge banner with woodgrain embossed paper to layer on that.
Then I went through the cards and chose these two 4 by 6 ones. The bottom card also has a 3 by 4 card layered on top of it. I wanted to define my journaling and this fit nicely on the larger card.
I fell in love with this cross-section of wood and cut it out as a large embellishment. All the while reinforcing my wood theme.
I cut some letters out of cork from my stash as they have an earthy feel and go so well with the wood veneers. Also I absolutely had to use that circular veneer with the arrow. My favorite one in this kit! YEAH! A few pops of red finished the page off nicely with the cut-a-part card.
Here is the YouTube video I made for this layout. Enjoy!
Hello. I have a couple of layouts I made with the Thriller kit + Add On to share with you. I had fun dressing up my dogs with this witch hat. I can't say Maggie found it as much fun as I did. Ha!
I started by choosing my two favorite papers in the kit and went from there. I trimmed the green sheet down and used my craft knife to cut out the end of the black and white arrow. I wanted it to layer over the photo to connect everything together. The second arrow is from the super duper sticker sheet.
I went looking for some of the phrases and found some on the sticker sheet and cut-a-part card. They fit this photo so well. Then, a few enamel stars scattered around and that completed this page.
My second layout is Teddy (with that same fab witch hat). I used the same papers and stitched down either side of the page to add some texture. I put the whole page on a black background to get maximum contrast and co-ordinate it with the first layout.
Did a bit of layering at the bottom of the 5 by 7 photo and again sprinkled some enamel stars around the page.
I used the stamp set in the top right corner of the page. I stamped and embossed on vellum and trimmed it out. I like the layering and translucent effect on the page.
Happy Thanksgiving to you! I have a little layout to share with you. I took this photo this summer and chuckle every time I see it. I was playing Frisbee with Mags and then she disappeared on me. All I could see was her little nose and tongue sticking out from behind my chair as she was having a little rest.
I made an embellishment column where the two papers met and loaded it all down the page. I used the MME Cut and Paste collections and some MFT dies, oh yes and a few Dear Lizzy ephemera packs.
I made a YouTube video of this layout as well. Enjoy! :)
I just can't get enough selfies. Funny none of them are mine. LOL. I love the selfies the kids take. I want to scrap them ALL. This layout video is of my daughter and her boyfriend when on vacation this summer. I think they are just the cutest little couple. I used the Amy Tan. Plus One PL cards for this layout. Enjoy the video.
