so you

Hi! I have another layout to share with you.  I used the Shake It Off kit + Add On from
Scraptastic Club for this page.  My step-daughter is doing a handstand in front of mountains.  Hence the title "so you".

I started this layout by trimming down the background paper to 8.5 by 11 and scored it.  I knew I wanted some tags and that noted place mat on the layout as well so found a home for those.  The noted place mat is embossed wih polka dots (I ran it through my cuttle bug).  I love adding texture to my pages with dry embossing.

This is a closer view to show the polka dot embossing.

Used my notebook punch on a strip of paper in the top left corner of the layout and added some puffy stickers from the kit.  I love the red diamond in particular :)  This shot shows the embossing on the background paper.

Here is a YT video I made of this layout.
Enjoy!

Christmas cake

My wonderful sister did it again this year! Wahoo!  This layout is about the awesome rum cake my sister makes for me every year.  It kick starts the Christmas season for me, and I love it (and her of course lol).

I used the Scraptastic Club November TLN (this life noted) kit. I scored the white background paper with a grid pattern on my scoreboard. Then stamped and embossed the wood veneer, to add a little extra texture.

The "good vibes" veneer is stamped with a pigment ink.

I layered up a few cards and got the date on the bottom card with several items from the kit.

Love making layouts with  these pocket page kits.

I made a YouTube video of this layout as well
enjoy :)

TLN kit

I made an 8.5 by 11 page with the October TLN kit from Scraptastic Club.  I love making layouts with these kits.  My page is about the "sunshine on the table" as my better half put it.  I had a rough day and came home to these lovely flowers waiting on the table for me.  The funny part is I knew I would scrap them with this kit.  LOL.

I started by choosing my cards and knew the photo would be placed on the left edge of the page so built up the rest from there.  The cards are all laid on a white piece of cardstock from my stash that was scored and punched with my notebook punch.  I had a gap to fill on the right hand side as I put the cards flush to the left side of the page.

I used the stamp set and stamped "pic of the week" then cut it out in a banner shape.  It was the perfect sentiment for this cute card with the camera on it.

I cut the yellow star card down to size and layered it over the "record" card, I wanted more yellow on the layout and this fit perfect.  I cut a few hearts from fun foam from my stash added some of the
cut-a-parts and rubons then sprinkled some of the sequins around the page. These TLN kits are so versatile, you can use them for pocket scrapbooking as well as layouts.

I made a YouTube video of this layout  as well :)

fish?

Hello. I made an 8.5 by 11 layout for this ARROW challenge @ Scraptastic Club and used the Heart It Races Kit & white cardstock from my stash.  I cut some arrows out of white cardstock to point to this hilarious photo of my daughters "catch-o-the-day"  I also cut a tag to layer behind each photo, the second tag acts as a pull tab to reveal a second photo.

I chose this journaling square from the cut-a-part.  It was perfect as it fit the "this is" sparkly arrow and had the date squares at the bottom of it.  I added a few more white arrows pointing in the direction of the photo.

Then I got the bright idea of adding drops of glossy accents around the page to simulate water drops.  I put the 1 & 2 tabs from the sticker sheet at the bottom of the first photo as a hint of the second photo hidden underneath.

Here is the YT video I made for this layout.

picture day

Hi!  It's getting cold outside so what better way to spend the weekend than scrapbooking.  I used the Scraptastic Club "heart it races" kit + add on + stamp set for this layout.  I wanted to make a grid design so went straight for the frames in the fabulous ephemera pack.

I used some white arrows on the page to point to different items, the photo, die cut sentiments... The arrows were cut on my Cameo with white cardstock from my stash.

The "today" is from the coordinating stamp set.  I stamped it with pigment ink and clear embossed it to add some shine.

I popped just about everything on this layout with sticky backed fun foam.  I cut the pieces to fit, stick them on the back of the item and then just glue onto the page.

Here is the process video I made for this layout.  Enjoy!

kayak selfie

I have another 8.5 by 11 page to share with you.  I used the Scraptastic Club "The Girl Kit"+Add On+cut file.  The layout is a selfie my daughter and niece took while on a kayak ride this summer.

I  based the whole layout on the two large banners, and layered from there. I chose the wood veneer I wanted to incoporate on this layout and went to work on the rest.

Once I had all that in place I used the stamp set and stamped the four tags you see under the photo, and the one with the arrows in the top left.  I put the circular embellishment on the veneer flower in the lower left of the photo and that's about it

Here is my YouTube video for this layout.

walk

Hi!  Happy Saturday to you.  I am sharing this walk layout that I made for a YouTube challenge on
"M Barone" YouTube channel.  It was called Quick Fire Friday #3.  The challenge was to use something sparkly or glittery on your page.

My sparkles/glitter are the blue bow , white letters, and two chevrons.

Her prize was the March 2014 SC Office Hours kit.  Wow lovely prize indeed!
I made a YouTube video of the layout and show the prize at the end .
Enjoy!
