soccer selfie

Hello there.  I have a layout I made with the I Lived kit and Add On from Scraptastic Club to share with you today.  I just can't leave this kit alone and the colors were just perfect for this selfie of my daughter.
I started this one off by laying some vellum (from my stash) over the number paper.  I wanted to stitch her jersey number on the background paper and wanted it to stand out so I toned it down with the vellum.

I filled in the top and bottom of the layout with a few strips of punched papers. I printed some words for the number wood veneer and fit them up at the top over one of the printable labels.

The title is layered over the photo with another label.  I put a few enamel dots to finish things off on some of the ephemera pieces, and that completed the page.

Here is a process video of how I put this page together.

Thanks for stoppin' by ;)

Pinterest Monday

Hi.  I am sharing the Pinterst pin and layout for a blog post over at Scraptastic Club.

I love the circular shapes and rosettes in this pin.  I pulled out my Janglin' kit and got to work choosing some papers to make rosettes.

Once I had all those made I printed my photo in a circular shape and cut it out with a circle die.  I love the dimension and texture the rosettes add to the page.

I love the ephemera pack with the touches of gold that come with this kit.

I filled in some of the rosette centers and added my photo to the bottom one.

The white circle from the ephemera pack was perfect to fit my date and a line of journaling on.  I made a YouTube video of this layout as well.  You can have a look at how I put this page together.

See ya next time ;)

So far so good ;)

I am finally getting around to playing with my Snap Album. I want to make the pages and just punch holes and put them into the album. Kinda like when you make a mini album.  There are no page protectors for those. I think it's fun and you can make your book interactive that way. Not  to mention the tactile factor! (My pages are 7 inches wide by 8.5 tall.)

Here is a peak at some of the pages.

I am planning on keeping this one pretty clean and simple. I tend to scrapbook that way but this is even simpler than my usual I think.

I was not going to have a theme for this album. I had full intentions of doing each page as I would in my regular albums but... Once again the dogs are taking over ;) I just can't help myself.

I am having so much fun making these mini layouts ! Glad I gave this a go! Thanks for stopping by :)

TLN Friday

H-a-p-p-y Friday to you. I have a couple of Scraptastic Club TLN (This Life Noted) kit layouts to share with you.

I made a couple of 8.5 by 11 layouts.  I love making layouts with these pocket page kits.  The cards are fun to layer and combine and the embellishments are always super fun too.

My first layout is documenting my love of mason jars.  I use them to store everything under the sun (well except canning, I don't can with them LOL).  I snapped a shot of my kitchen cupboard and got playing with the kit.

Love the emoji and coordinating printables with this kit.

My second layout is about the green space just outside my back gate.  I so love taking the dogs and biking through this wonderful space.  I am fortunate to have it right out my back door.  Again the TLN kit was perfect for this layout.

I die cut the yellow circle behind the bow from the card in the first layout. It's a nice way to get a bit of extra mileage from your cards if you use them for layering.  I placed everything at a bit of an angle to give a haphazard look.  Kind of like the cards were just strewn on the page. I then filled in the large gaps with printables and vellum die cuts.

I always have the best time making layouts with these Scraptastic Club TLN kits.
I have a couple of YouTube videos of these layouts
enjoy
:)

Pinterest Monday

I made this layout for a Pinterest Monday blog post over at Scraptastic Club.

I made my 8.5 by 11 layout with the Rivers and Roads kit.  All I can think about is all the beautiful warm weather that is coming so that's what my page is about.  I started with a piece of white cardstock (from my stash) punched the bottom and curled the top down to reveal the navy cardstock piece behind.  It anchors everything and I knew I wanted to use some navy embellishments on my page.

I cut the bike and heart balloons on my Silhouette Cameo from the pretty patterned paper in the kit. The hearts are a string art cut  and lend themselves nicely to backing them with paper.  I tied all  of the balloons to the bike seat. This is how I saw the hearts and string from the pin.

My journaling is about how I am excited to have the whole of Spring and Summer ahead.  I layered some of the printable labels and cut-a-parts on the right side of the page and sprinkled some embellishments around.

This was a fun pin and lovely kit to play with.  I made a YouTube video of this layout as well.  Enjoy! :)

Pinterest Monday

Hi! This layout was for a Pinterest Monday blog post over at Scraptastic Club.  I used the Rivers and Roads kit + Add On.

My 8.5 by 11 layout is all about dreaming of spring.  I cut some 3-D banners on my Silhouette Cameo and placed some of the embellishments on top of them.

I love banners and these give some nice lift to the page.

I put three more banners at the bottom of the page and placed my title across them.  The veneer in this kit is amazing!  The polka dot background and small shapes I punched from the patterned paper represent the confetti from he pin.

What a fun pin this was to play with.
I have a YouTube video of this layout :)
Enjoy!
